Look at all the Max fans somehow hoping Lewis Hamilton retires so their Man can have some free air. Most of the calls for Hamilton to retire come from Max fanboys and those who dislike him... go figure! The likes of Ecclestone and Marko saying he should let others win too. Obviously very biased to protect that Schumacher records and not to extend his records that may never be touched again in our generation. Not so fast! If Hamilton retires it's because he is disillusioned with the FIA corruption and not because he is a spent force or scared of young George Russell... Russell could learn a thing or two about race craft from the legend! Hamilton has driven with decent drivers that he sent into early retirement... you know them! C'mon get real people!31-01-2022 10:30

And yethe beat Max easy and square, until Max got a helping hand from Masi. I will have some that clouds your judgment. If you think F1 driving is all about hitting the throttle with no care whatsoever about anything else, like they do in freestyle street racing, then yes Max is way ahead. Unfortunately F1 is a craft with rules and regulations and Lewis has proven over his long career that he is the best in the business... check out the many generations of drivers he sent into retirement.31-01-2022 10:36

As for Max fanboys celebrating Masi, wait until his corruption impacts your man and then you will understand why corruption is never good. Ask those who live in dictatorship regimes hownyou can be a favourable sycophant/cadre/minon today and tomorrow you are toast aside.28-12-2021 13:20

The new FIA president is just a pawn of the more powerful faceless men behind the scenes... there's only one who dares publicly declare his bias, Bernie Ecclestone. These people will control what Sulayem does and doesn't do. One assumption here is that firing Masi will be tantamount to publicly admitting guilty and accepting wrongdoing on the part of the FIA. It is a wrong assumption because Masi's position and integrity are now highly compromised, and no one (drivers, principals and fans) will ever respect his decisions no matter how right they are. Controversy will forever follow and haunt him, and he himself will be questioning his own decisions. They can choose to bury their heads in the sand but they are just making things worse.28-12-2021 13:17

Crazy how these writers at GP Blog don't want to be writing the truth and what happened exactly... they keep writing shortened versions of what happened without writing how the rules were broken. Crazy!27-12-2021 22:53

"Another title"? That's perhaps the only title he's won season and even that may be questionable because we don't know if Masi was involved as the race director.28-12-2021 02:26

Now there's some dominance stats for you. Max fanboys like going about 2021 season stats but given the proper dominance stats they back off and come up with all sorts of excuses... make up your mind, either starts matter or don't.28-12-2021 02:24

Look the fact all those who know him or those who dislike Hamilton are coming out of the woodworks to try and defend him as the 'deserving' winner only shows how tainted his Championship is. Arguments like "unlucky"; 'DNF' are just hollow because the last race is what actually decided the Championship because they were dead on equal points going into Abu Dhabi. The 'unlucky' argument could be used to Hamilton as well including the infamous "magic button"; the "halo" near miss; etc. Also Max had some "luck" of his own including Spa where he got free points, Sochi where Lando Norris and others had dramas but Max benefited; escaping some costly penalties for his agression (e.g. Brazil, Saudi Arabia with academic time penalty) and cases where Hamilton had to apply evasive actions to avoid collision with him by backing off and letting him pass (his fans called it "hard racing" whereas Hamilton's fans thought it was dangerous driving). We can go on and on about "deserving" and what not but the fact is the last race decided the Championship and we all saw what happened there. Definitely the title is tainted and it will forever be tainted, hence all these justifications from every man and his dog.27-12-2021 18:09

I think the big scandal here is that points were actually awarded for this farce boosting a guy's Championship points. A SC driving around for few laps... talk about a race not finishing under SC how ironic!26-12-2021 01:17
